Lake Erskine is a picturesque baby-blue glacial lake on the top of a mountain in Fiordland National Park. Access by car/foot is impossible – Helicopters are the only way.

There is always snow in the background at Lake Erskine. The lake is also frozen during winter between July and September.

The flight time from Queenstown is approximately 25 minutes each way.
