Just a short 20 minute drive away from Queenstown – Moke Lake is a stunning otherworldly location that looks great any time of the year.
Get the Heli look without actually flying on a helicopter. Coronet Peak overlooks both Queenstown & Skippers Canyon range down towards Mt Larkin. 4WD may be necessary in Winter months between June~August.
Lake Wakatipu is the biggest lake in the South Island, stretching from Kingston to Glenorchy. The Queenstown side of the lake is a great spot in the late afternoon.
The beautiful autumn colours in Arrowtown (mid-Aril to early May) is a must-visit spot just 20 minutes from Queenstown.
Lake Johnson is just 4 minutes drive away from the Helicopter hangars, but is tucked behind a hill and nobody seems to know about it! A very quiet and beautiful spot with easy access.
Just 10 minutes drive from either Queenstown airport or Arrowtown. A beautiful spot in Autumn.
Wilson Bay is just 5 minutes drive away from Moke Lake, and we’d usually pair this spot as a quick stop-by.
