Ashleigh & Anthony’s Coromandel Peak Wanaka Heli-Wedding Elopement

It’s hard to get anything better than sunset at the top of Roys Peak in Autumn.

Golden sunshine, light rays through the mountain valleys, pretty comfortable weather. The stressful part? Time flies really quick when the conditions are simply perfect.

We started the day with Hair & Makeup at the Hilton Hotel in Queenstown – Yanisa from Charm Beauty worked with us to pamper Ashleigh, and Steph from Orange Blossom Designs delivered a beautiful seasonal bouquet. Once ready, Alpine Helicopters flew us up to Coromandel Peak (the private section of Mt Roy) and wowed us with the best view of Lake Wanaka. Andy Bell (who is possibly the most popular celebrant in 2021) officiated their Wedding Ceremony, which was filled with tears and laughter. In the evening, we drove out to Coronet Peak for an Astro Shoot.
