At an altitude nearly 2km above sealevel, Cecil Peak stands across Lake Wakatipu and Queenstown. A very popular spot for its cliff-top epicness and its sheltered spot away from the Southerly winds.
At 2300m above sealevel, the Remarkables is the tallest mountain visible from Queenstown central. Often covered in snow between June~October, looking over Lake Wakatipu.
An adventurous flight between the mountain valleys takes us to Mt Creighton, which sits between Queenstown and Glenorchy facing North-West towards Kinloch, Pig Island & Pigeon Island.
Lake Isobel is an alpine lake tucked just behind Mt Creighton, and is a handy spot for a 2nd short landing.
Bayonet Peaks is tucked away behind Cecil Peak, looking over Lake Wakatipu. Often used if the winds from the West are too strong.
Lake Hope is a beautiful mountain-top lake behind the Remarkables, accessed via the Wye Creek.
GLENORCHY & FIORDLAND
Lake Lochnagar is an emerald lake on the mountain top, some 20 minutes away from Queenstown via Helicopter.. or 2 days hiking.

The hanging glacier on the top of the mountain melts and creates stunning waterfalls – Used as a filming location for The Hobbit movie.
Mt Bonpland is the main mountain you’ll see from Glenorchy Wharf, over Lake Wakatipu. Covered in snow during winter, overlooking the lake & the Dart River.
The Rees Valley is a privately owned mountain station, facing north towards Mt Earnslaw. Covered in snow during winter.
WANAKA DESTINATIONS
Easily the most popular and recognisable destination. Coromandel Peak is a privately owned section of Roys Peak, and we make sure to book for a private permit before going there.
Twin Peaks is a privately owned mountain, on the other side of Lake Wanaka looking West towards Roy’s Peak.
Icy all year long – perfect for couples wanting a snowy look with warm summer sun.
Overlooking Mt Aspiring – The South Island’s 2nd tallest mountain and facing down towards the valley. Epic in any weather condition.
